Has Spring finally…sprung? Hopefully, the warm weather is here to stay. However, I am still very hesitant to leave my home without a sweater of some sort to drape across my shoulders. The weather in New York is still cool as the temps still remain in the upper 50’s low 60’s. I am still dressing in layers during these temperatures. I love blazers and cardigans, especially for spring. The Notched Lapel Blazer is an absolutely perfect piece. I wore it one warm Sunday afternoon to meet up with one of my blogger friends. I paired it with a black tee shirt and Skinny Jeans from Torrid. To add a touch of glam, I wore my Rose Gold Michael Kors sneakers that I snagged at Marshalls.

Finally, Frosty Winter is here! The chilly air, the snow storms, the cozy hats, and gloves…I LOVE IT ALL. I am here for all things winter. Perhaps I should mention that I am a February winter baby! Anywho, if there is one thing that I love to wear during this cold weather is sweaters. Cozy sweaters with a little character. Something like this black sparkle sweater that I got from Torrid a few years ago. I love the sparkly poisonous perfume bottle decor on the front. Super cute and super fashionable.
Milestones in a bloggers life are cause for a celebration. No matter how small or enormous. I have been blogging for a little over a year, and I am very proud of what I have learned and accomplished to date. However, there are times that I become a little envious of other bloggers. Each time they share a collaboration or amazing photo; all I can do is say ” I want to be able to do that too.”
I have introduced to the art of thrifting a few months ago. I have always bought my clothes brand new which has led to astronomical credit card bills. (smh) Now, if I pass a thrift store in my neighborhood in Brooklyn or in Manhattan I have to drop in to see if I can locate any hidden treasures. Being a plus size woman, locating plus size pieces can be a little challenging.
