Trending Tuesday Denim Studio Trench Coat by Eloquii

The weather is slowly starting to warm up even though Spring has “arrived”.  When the sun goes down it can get rather chilly in New York, and while a down or puffer coat is not necessary it is always good to have a light jacket on hand to ward off the chills.  Eloquii is one of my all time favorite brands.  Eloquiis apparel has the curvy woman in mind, and their pieces are chic, flattering, modern and gorgeous!  While perusing the Eloquii website, I came across this stunning Denim Studio Trench Coat!  This trench coat is shall I say dope and the frayed hem detailing gives it a bit of an edge.

Trending Tuesday: Romper Cover Up By Eloquii

Hey Curvy Cuties!  I have a great Trending Tuesday feature for you today.  Yesterday Eloquii launched its FIRST ever swimwear line for plus size women.  Being a plus size woman, it can be very challenging to find a bathing suit or any swimwear that caters to our curves.  During the warmer months you can always find me near the beach or in the pool.  Selecting proper swimwear is essential for me.  I chose this pink printed cover-up romper which is perfect for lounging in the warm summer sun.    When it comes to rompers I purchase a size larger to prevent bunching in uncomfortable places (you know what I mean.)  It features a cute sash for a comfortable fit.  The plunging neckline and cute sleeves add to the sophistication and style.  This romper will definitely be added to my wish list.

Well, we prayed for spring to make its annual entrance and it is finally here.  Unfortunately, Mother Nature has still not received the memo.  Even though our calendar has pinpointed its arrival, the weather outside still has some elements of Winter.  Nevertheless, that should not impede on us getting ready for the warm weather.  The official collection of Prabal Gurung launched in collaboration with Lane Bryant.  This collection is truly a special one indeed.  The pieces designed can be worn to work and during a casual weekend.

Trending Tuesday: Ashley Nell Tipton Spring 2017 Collection

We were first introduced to Ashley Nell Tipton watching her continuously excel on Project Runway.  Since then, she has launched her second collection with JCPenny.  The Ashley Nell Tipton 2017 Spring Collection is finally here and its even better then the first.  The pieces that she has designed from distressed jeans, bomber jackets, pencil skirts, graphic tees and more.  Got so excited of adding some of these pieces to my wardrobe.    Here are 4 of my favorite pieces from here collection.

Knit Tank Top Plus:  Spring is almost here and this top will truly be incorporated into many spring and summer outfits.  Pair these with a pair of distressed jeans or a maxi skirt and cute flat sandals.  The possibilities are endless.  You can find it here.  Check out the other colors too.

 

Pencil Skirt Plus:  Ahhh!  The pencil skirt.  The pencil skirt is flattering to any figure and I myself have a few pencil skirts, but this one is unique.  Notice the lace detailing?  This skirt can worn down with a simple tee and sneakers or you can wear it to work with a bow blouse and heels.

Tunic Top Plus:  The Tunic top.  A versatile piece indeed.  I love the fact that this dress can be worn with distressed jeans or perhaps leggings and sneakers.  I can’t wait to wear it the first day of spring.  Add a pop of color with a cute red purse.  By the way, it also comes in the color Turquoise.  Will I be purchasing both?  Absolutely!

 

Motorcycle Jacket Plus:  I have never had a motorcycle jacket before.  I have associated the garment with biker chicks and men with usually long facial hair.  When I saw this jacket I immediately added it to my cart.  It is so beautiful with the floral details.  It just “girly” enough for me to add to my wardrobe.  Wear this jacket with skirts, jeans, leggings….anything.

Trending Tuesday: Monif C 2017 Swimwear Collection

 

I am usually a “one note” swimwear shopper.  I purchase my swimsuits from one place and one place only.  Lane Bryant.  That’s it!  Every year right before the weather turns warm, I begin to hunt for a new swimsuit.  I am very particular about my selection as a modest (somewhat) plus size women.  Which means that certain parts must be remained covered and yet tastefully enhanced.  You get my point!  I’m very proud to say that this year…I will be stepping out of my comfort zone!  I have too.  What brand is responsible for this revelation?  MONIF C!  Now, if you don’t have any idea what I am talking about then you must be living under a ROCK!  Monif C 2017 Swimwear Collection…which is appropriately called Sea features the modest full bathing suits along with two pieces with bold prints and bright colors.   I am telling you this collection can make even the modest plus size woman (me) feel SEXY!  Without giving a second thought to whether or not by butt is hanging out.  Yeah, Me, Butt Cleavage….NO!

Can I just say that I am in awe?  Yes!  Completely!  Unequivocally in AWE!  I do have a confession to make.  I am an avid swimmer and I do it as often as possible.  Matter fact, it is my preferred exercise.  BUT, I never ever go swimming without a tee-shirt.  Yep! I’m Guilty.  However, I can’t cover up these swimsuits.  I just, CAN’T.   They must be seen, admired, RESPECTED!   And so they shall!    I love the Marina Rashguard Purple Snake Suit and the Marina Rashguard Geo Multi Suit!   I am not sure which one I will pick.  What do you think?  (Hmm….)

Price Point

 

Let’s discuss coins.  The purchase of these suits due require a couple of coins, 401K withdrawal, a few pints of blood. (Ok, that was overly dramatic!)  Whatever!  The point is I strongly believe that I will not regret the purchase of these suits or anything for that matter!  Neither would you!
