Curvy Intuition

The weather in New York has been really unpredictable lately.  One week the weather is frigid and the following week it’s as warm as a spring day.  I am the type of person who transitions her closet based on the seasons.  With that being said, my summer clothes are in storage with the exception of a few tee-shirts and lightweight pants.  I decided to accept an invitation to go to the movies followed by drinks one Friday evening and the weather was nice and warm.  Too warm to wear a leather jacket and jeans. I put a chic outfit together which would keep me cool enough while traveling but warm enough when the temperature drops.

I am so excited for this weeks Trending Tuesday feature.  I launched my blog in October of 2016.  Before I launched I was an avid reader of many blogs.  One of them was called Gorgeous In Grey.  Gorgeous in Grey is written by Ty Alexander who is also a best-selling author.  Last year she wrote her first book called Things I wish I knew Before my Mom Died. If you are a frequent visitor of CVS you might have seen her on a beauty poster.  She is also a model and a beautiful one at that!  Now here comes the good part!  In addition to her many accomplishments she just launched an accessory line called Obsessorized.  (Don’t you just love that name?)

 

Make-up Bags

For a girly-girl like myself, a make-up bag is absolutely essential.  I need to have all my beauty products in one place.  You can read about my make-up bag essentials here.  With all the beauty “stuff” that I have in my bag, it would fit perfectly in this Obsessorized canvas tote!  I instantly was drawn to the “Maybe She’s Born with it, Maybe its Melanin!!!” and that will be my first purchase.

 

 

I am normally not a sneaker person.  When I think of sneakers I usually think of fitness.  I came across these sneakers in a picture of a fellow blogger and I instantly fell in love!  The moment I laid eyes on them I instantly knew that I had to feature them on this weeks Trending Tuesday pick.

 

The Sam Edelman Leya Fur Sneaker is the perfect fashion staple to incorporate into your wardrobe.  Pair these with leggings or skinny jeans and  a sweater and you can be stylish while running errands or going to brunch with friends.  They come in a variety of colors.  My favorites are Mauve and Gray and they are supepr affordable!  Score!

 

 

Anyone who knows me can attest to the fact that I am a BAG JUNKIE!  I admit it!  I love bags!!  Big ones, small ones, satchels, bucket bags, hobos, clutches, wristlets and the list goes on and on.  Due to my extended collection; lets just say that I have a hard time fitting anymore items into my closet.  (Don’t judge me! lol)  There is nothing like a good statement bag to bring an outfit together.  Which brings me to one of my favorite designers…Michael Kors.  I own several Michael Kors designed clothing and accessories.  I am also very impressed with his plus size collection as well.  (More on that later!)
